Mr. Ted’s Science Adventures…
Mr. Ted’s Science Adventures has been continuing this week with tadpoles transforming into frogs! The kids are screaming with delight over seeing tadpoles and learning about their transformation. In two weeks, the tadpoles will be full-fledge frogs!

Kid’s Kitchen Week
Kid’s Kitchen Week was a huge hit with the children. They made everything from Dirt Cups to Banana Pudding. The Pre-K children designed recipe cards for each item they created… Toddlers sang songs about food… And Preschoolers learned about different equipment cooks use to make food. Tie-Dye Day
Tie Dye day was such a hit here at the center. The children were so excited to make their very own shirt to wear. Some of the shirts turned out patriotic with red, white, and blue while others showcased a more psychedelic effect.
Making “Ice Cream” Cones
The children in room 6 with Ms. Rachel and Ms. Karina made their own versions of ice cream art! With special art media, food coloring, and glitter, the children designed their very own cone. And just in time for the summer heat to begin!!
We love JDN…..
Our little graduates written a book about what they love about coming to Jenkintown Day Nursery each day. The children love coming to JDN to learn letters and numbers, learning to tell time, going on field trips, playing soccer with Coach T, learning songs from Ms. Jessie, and so much more.
Father’s Day Brew
On Friday, June 16th, Fathers of all sorts came out to our annual “Happy Hour” with a Father’s Day Brew. The children with their favorite fathers to have root beer floats, make a special craft and hang out with other DADs! Everyone had a great time!!
