Our children just love all the fun they are having at the center. So far, they cooked in the kitchen… Party in the USA… and now learning about tadpoles and frogs. The learning and fun never stops at JDN!

This week we will be highlighting our very own Mr. Ted, the Science Guy. He will be introducing the children to his new hatchlings of Tadpoles. The children will be observing how the tadpoles will grow into frogs!!
Kid’s Kitchen Week was a huge hit with the children. They made everything from Dirt Cups to Banana Pudding. The Pre-K children designed recipe cards for each item they created… Toddlers sang songs about food… And Preschoolers learned about different equipment cooks use to make food. Tie Dye day was such a hit here at the center. The children were so excited to make their very own shirt to wear. Some of the shirts turned out patriotic with red, white, and blue while others showcased a more psychedelic effect.

The children are encourage to wear their tie-dye shirts to school. We are looking to see who has the most patriotic class!

Our little graduates written a book about what they love about coming to Jenkintown Day Nursery each day. The children love coming to JDN to learn letters and numbers, learning to tell time, going on field trips, playing soccer with Coach T, learning songs from Ms. Jessie, and so much more.
